Story: This home office is a striking multipurpose space offering plenty of storage and many comforts while housing collections of favorite art, books and records. This office is also used as a reading room, craft room, and guest room. What this space offers in function, it matches in form. Crisp white cabinetry amplifies the natural light and vaulted ceilings, and surrounds colorful furniture and warmly layered textiles which serve equally as a retreat for visitors and a backdrop for virtual meetings. The color palette was borrowed from a favorite piece of art: a sailboat procured from an Amalfi market. Shades of blue and teal influence focus and clear thinking for work, and serenity and restfulness during pasttimes in what is affectionately referred to as "the blue room."
